Liberty Mountain Ski Patrol (LMSP) was founded in 1965 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit to ensure the safety and well-being of all Liberty Mountain Resort's guests and employees.

LMSP is composed of a very unique set of volunteers from across industries, backgrounds, and experiences who know how to work hard and play hard!
COMMUNITY SERVICE
Liberty Mountain Resort serves tens-of-thousands of skiers/riders each season and LMSP interacts with many of those guests either through first aid or general on-snow interactions.
SKIING/SNOWBOARDING
LMSP promotes safe skiing/riding practices, mitigates hazards on the hill, and provides emergency care and rescue. This means that we get to ski/ride practically all shift long!

The proceeds from all merchandise sales directly support our mission as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and contribute to providing meals, offering continuing education programs, and sustaining various other initiatives that further our organization's goals. EVENT SUPPORT
LMSP provides first aid support at events during the off-season. Examples include, but are not limited to, the JFK50 Mile, Baltimore Half Marathon, Annapolis Running Festival, Frederick Summer Solstice 8K, D.C. Half Marathon, Maryland Interscholastic Cycling League (MICL), Pennsylvania Interscholastic Cycling League (PICL), and many more!
